Machine-A

Machine-A Store Visit

On last Sat, I have been to the store of Machine-A which is a great store full of treasures.

Established in 2013, Machine-A was founded under the name Digitaria with the founder,
Stavros Karelis also a creative director of the brand.
It have also moved their store from 60 Berwick Street to 13 Brewer Street.
The store is perceived as a store with London’s young design.
Working in the front line with emerging designers and outstanding talents.
They determine to stock for up trend talented young designers
and showcase their products in the store beneficial to support the young designers.

It performed energy and optimism as part of the London Fashion,
with selling the extraordinary and attractive items from plenty of outstanding, young, special brands.
An international e-commerce platform is also produced to support the retail store.

The modern and plain store interior makes the items stands out.

Books, look books and posters are being shown on the self in-store.

Items in-store are mostly new items that some of them are even hard to find in the UK.

Ashish SS16 at London Fashion Week

Ashish,
with the new idea of model "walking" in the SS16 London Fashion Week show,
has successfully drawn the audience's attention.
Models are being given a skateboard that they can play with
which is a relatively new idea for models in fashion shows.

The design of the brand this season with glitters and colours and the girliness
which the brand is trying to achieve.
And the playfulness concept of this season has been fully performed
with the use of models and props.

Male models are also being used to perform feminism,
which also can catch the eye of people and form topic for people to discuss.

Fashion Labour

Fashion Labour Shoot

The issue of ethnicity in fashion is quite serious nowadays,
so I would like to produce outcomes in relation to the fashion labour problem.

The concept of the hardness of the fashion labours have been brought out with this shoot.
I have used a Chinese and a Indian models to represent the fashion labours
that get low paid working 24/7 in the fashion clothing factory.
